Vilano Beach - The "Serene" Beach
The Vilano Beach offers a huge variety of things to do, such as parasailing, vacation rentals, lodging, and has many fun parks that you can visit. It may not be as populous as the St. Augustine Beach, but there are still many opportunities to have fun here. It is great to live near this beach or just vacation here. The sand on the Vilano Beach is a coquina sand mixture which truly shows the essence of St. Augustine. There is free parking off the beach so there's no need to pay to get in and then from there, you're only a short walk away from enjoying the "Serene" beach known as The Vilano Beach. The area is undsergoing a metamorphosis as there may soon be a grocery store committed to locating there.

The Vilano Beach now has a new bridge, and the old bridge is now a fishing pier. Located near the fishing pier are kayak and jet ski rentals and fishing charters. This means there are many more ways to enjoy the beach whether you want to go jetskiing or just sit back and fish for a few hours. If you want to try out some restauraunts nearby, you can try Aunt Kate's, Caps, The Reef, Oceanfront, and many more. There is also a rumor that Vilano Beach will have a new grocery store, most likely a Publix. The beach and intercoastal pavilions are stellar and living here would be a pleasure for anyone.
